Soft wood pulp bleached softwood kraft pulp price for sale

Our softwood kraft pulp is made from southern pine that is cultivated in the South of China.

Southern pine fibers are relatively long, which contributes to the strength and durability of the resulting pulp. This makes it ideal for applications where strength is important, such as in packaging materials.

The fiber of softwood kraft pulp is generally uniform in size and shape, which contributes to the evenness and consistency of the pulp. This uniformity is important for achieving desired paper properties and for enhancing the papermaking process efficiency.

The softwood kraft pulp is in sheet form. It is packed in bale with iron wire.

Packing: 840*700*520mm/pack, 1400*840*1800mm/bale, around 1.98 tons/ bale.

What is wood pulp?

It refers to the fibrous material derived from wood through mechanical or chemical processes. It’s the primary raw material used in the production of paper and a wide range of other products. It can be categorized into two main types based on the source of the wood: hardwood pulp and softwood pulp.

Hardwood pulp is derived from deciduous trees, such as oak, maple, birch, and beech, while softwood pulp comes from coniferous trees like pine, spruce, fir, and cedar. Pulp is processed into various grades and qualities depending on the desired characteristics of the end product, such as strength, smoothness, opacity, and absorbency. It’s a versatile material used in industries ranging from papermaking to textiles, packaging, and beyond.

What is wood pulp used for?

  1. Paper Production

   – Printing and Writing Papers: Newspapers, books, magazines, office papers, and other printed materials.

   – Packaging Materials: Cardboard, paperboard, corrugated board, and other packaging materials used for boxes, cartons, and containers.

   – Specialty Papers: Tissue paper, filter paper, label stock, and other specialty papers with specific properties such as absorbency, strength, or surface smoothness.

  1. Construction Materials

   – Fiberboard and Particleboard: Interior and furniture-grade panels made from compressed wood fibers bonded with adhesives for furniture, cabinets, and building materials.

   – Insulation: Thermal and acoustic insulation materials made from wood fibers for buildings and homes.

  1. Filters and Specialty Applications

   – Air and Liquid Filtration: Filters for air purification, water treatment, and industrial processes due to their high surface area and ability to capture particles.

   – Battery Separators: Separators in lead-acid batteries to prevent short circuits.

   – Food Packaging: Packaging materials with specific barrier properties for food packaging applications.

  1. Biodegradable Products: Pulpwood is a renewable and biodegradable material, making it suitable for environmentally friendly products and packaging solutions.

Pulpwood plays a crucial role in numerous industries, contributing to the production of a wide range of everyday products and materials.
